Tree House offers a 90-day program in Denver, Colorado. Treatment sessions are in the evenings after work. That way you can work on your recovery without it affecting your professional or personal life.
Tree House Treatment takes on the core causes of addiction and make you stronger than you were before addiction. Getting back to normal is only the first step. Normal is what led to addiction. Mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT) helps change the way you think and feel while stressed. Stress, especially chronic stress, has a way of fostering negative thinking and cravings for easy ways to escape that stress. MBCT teaches meditation as a way to observe these thoughts and feelings without judgment. Meditation short circuits the stress response in the brain, allowing us to make healthier choices. Over time meditation leads to improved self-awareness, self-care, and emotional regulation.
As you become better at channeling negative emotions into positive choices, your view of yourself will shift.

Our body has a significant effect on our mind, mood, and energy levels. That’s why exercise in addiction recovery is crucial for sustaining sobriety. Regular exercise helps make your body stronger, builds resilience, pushes you past what you thought you were capable of, and has shown to be an effective treatment for shortening Post-Acute Withdrawal Syndrome.
Exercise is a regular part of treatment at Tree House. It has many mental benefits and also helps you connect with your sober teammates.

The body can affect the brain just like the brain affects the body. That’s why regular exercise is such an important part of addiction recovery. As your body gets stronger and more resilient, so will your brain, and so will you.
Physical training is also a proven way to reduce the symptoms of emotional withdrawal (PAWS) and bring your body back into balance more quickly. At Tree House, exercise is a daily activity. It’s a way to get stronger, control cravings, and make new relationships with teammates. All of these are key things that lead to lifelong sobriety.
